Expanded Focus: Red River Modified Tour to feature two regions, $10,000 point fund

The third year of the Red River Modified Tour, traditionally run in Texas and Oklahoma each May, expands with North and South regions and a massive combined point fund for 2020.

$1000-to-Win Modifieds, every night, will be the focus. All tracks can run support classes they desire.

Texas and Oklahoma are christened the Lone Star Super Gas Red River Modified Tour South presented by Smiley’s Racing Products. In late July and August racing action heads North to Minnesota and North Dakota for the Red River Modified Tour North presented by Sanders Metal Products. The Red River Modified Tour North will assume the identity and records of the former Sanders Modified Tour.

Nine total dates will be run between both tours. Point Standings will be tallied for each North and South tours. On top of region racing a “High Five” combined points standings will be tallied based on the best four races of both tours. The High Five, presented by XR (racexr.com), will pay out a cool $5000.00 to the overall champion, $2500.00 to 2nd, $1250.00 3rd, $750.00 4th, and $500.00 for 5th: Click for More Info. In addition, the overall champion will granted a provisional starting spot to the Modified Feature of the 2020 Duel in the Desert from the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on November 14, 2020.
